GARDEN SETTING

Kitchen garden

This project is an illustrative brief using stock photography. It does not describe a completed Greenfold commission.

The brief

Make paths and growing beds ready for the next season while retaining the structure of the established garden. Access to each bed matters as much as the planting.

Scope of work

Clear wind-blown debris, hand-weed the bed edges and inspect supports for climbers. Refresh the soil only where needed and agree which plants will remain before cutting back old growth.

Keeping it in shape

Keep newly cleared ground covered or planted. Recheck climber ties as growth starts, and clear fallen material from the gravel routes throughout the growing season.
